Peter Okoye reflects on his football days as he shares throwback video of him with Mikel Obi

Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, of the Psquare group, is reflecting on his football days.
While sharing a throwback video of himself with Nigerian Chelsea legend Mikel Obi, he admonished the public not to give up, revealing that he used to play football and chase music at the same time.
Peter disclosed that he was even offered the chance to play for Plateau United FC from Pepsi Academy back then in Jos, but his dream was always to play in Europe.
The award-winning singer said destiny chose the mic instead, and today he’s an established, successful artist. Peter credited his success to grace.
“NEVER GIVE UP! Yes, I used to play football and chase music at the same time.
I was even offered the chance to play for Plateau United F.C from Pepsi Academy back then in Jos. But my dream was always to play in Europe.
Somehow, destiny chose the mic instead. 🎤 Today, I’m an established and successful artist/musician.

In a new month prayer to his fans, Peter shared a video of his house interiors, praying that his type of broke or brokeness locate his fans.
While writing a note to his younger self, the singer had stated that he would tell himself not to trust people too much, believe in himself, and remember that nobody loves it when he loves himself first. He added that family is blood-related, but real family is loyalty.
