“I Want to Make Money and Welcome My First Child Through Surrogacy” – Ex-BBNaija Winner Reveals Future Plans

Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has opened up about her plans for the future, including her desire to become a mother through surrogacy.
Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast, the reality TV star revealed that her primary focus for the remainder of the year and the early part of next year is to build her finances in preparation for having her first child.
According to Phyna, she does not intend to carry the pregnancy herself but plans to have her child through a surrogate. She explained that although she had previously stated that she only wanted to be a “cat and dog mom,” she has since changed her perspective.
“My goal for the rest of the year and early next year is to focus on making money so I can have my first child. When I say I want to have my first child, I’m not getting pregnant myself. No way. I’m having my child through surrogacy. You know I once said I wanted to be a cat and dog mom, but I’ve changed my mind,” she said.
In an earlier episode of her podcast, Phyna spoke about the challenges women face in society, admitting that she sometimes wishes she were a man because of the pressures and stigma often placed on women. She argued that men appear to have fewer societal expectations when it comes to success and personal ambition.
The reality star also recently shared her thoughts on marriage among former BBNaija housemates following the wedding announcement of fellow reality TV star Emmanuel Umoh. Phyna suggested that male BBNaija alumni tend to face less public criticism and media scrutiny, which may contribute to more of them settling down and getting married.
