Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade (Asake) has opened up on his personal life, explaining why he is yet to settle down despite his growing fame in the music industry.

The ‘Lungu Boy’ hitmaker made the revelation during a sit-down interview with Korty EO, where he spoke candidly about relationships, marriage, and his outlook on starting a family.

According to the singer, his naturally reserved personality has significantly influenced his social interactions, making it difficult for him to form relationships. He described himself as an introvert who rarely goes out or mingles freely, a factor he said has contributed to his current single status.

Despite this, Asake noted that the idea of building a family remains on his mind, adding that he believes his life is divinely guided and that marriage will happen at the appropriate time.

He stressed the importance of patience in matters of love, stating that he has no intention of rushing into a relationship, as he trusts that everything will unfold according to God’s plan.

For now, the award-winning artiste said his primary focus remains his music career and personal growth, noting that his mother currently holds a special place in his life as his closest companion.

He reiterated that while he looks forward to marriage, he is content with his present phase, expressing confidence that the right partner will come when the timing aligns with his destiny.
