Actor Chiwetalu Agu plans big 70th birthday

Chiwetalu Agu is counting down to a major milestone as he prepares to celebrate his 60th birthday on March 5, 2026.
Taking to Instagram, the Nollywood veteran announced that a special birthday celebration will be held at Desikiok Hotel, Rumuibekwe Estate, Port Harcourt. He warmly invited fans and well-wishers to join him for the occasion, expressing heartfelt gratitude to God for the gift of life.

The announcement comes months after the actor dismissed rumours of his death. In a lively video, he was seen enjoying himself — eating chicken and sipping wine — while assuring fans that he is very much alive and thriving. He confidently declared that he will continue to live life to the fullest until God calls him home, adding that such a time is far off.
Last August, Agu sparked concern among fans when he shared a hospital video showing his wife and son caring for him. At the time, he expressed deep appreciation to a prophet who ensured he received both quality medical attention and spiritual support.
