“We’re coming to rescue you from your husband’s house” – Teni mocks 2Baba

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has stirred reactions online after jokingly calling on Nigerians to “rescue” music legend 2Baba amid marital drama with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
In a viral video shared on Tuesday, November 3, Teni playfully asked Nigerians to gear up for a rescue mission.
She said the African Queen crooner needed to be “picked up” immediately, adding that she wasn’t joking about the urgency.
While addressing her fans, Teni momentarily said they were coming to rescue 2Baba from his “husband’s house” before correcting herself and saying “wife.”

The slip sent social media into a frenzy, with many laughing at the mix-up and praising her for her comic delivery.
Teni, who recently trended for borrowing a Lamborghini from Davido for a video shoot, joked that one luxury car wouldn’t be enough for this mission.
According to her, a fighter jet might even be needed to carry out the “operation.”

In her words:

“You know I haven’t told you when Baddest borrowed me a Lamborghini, but right now, it’s not about me anymore. One Lamborghini won’t be enough, because we’ve got to use speed to pick up 2Baba. If you have a fighter jet, bring it. Baba, we are coming to save you from your husband’s house, sorry, wife, from where you are.”
Teni’s comment came shortly after a worrying post appeared on 2Baba’s Instagram page. In the now-deleted message, the legendary singer called for help

This followed his heated live video exchange with Natasha on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram session, which had already raised concerns among fans.
