Top Nollywood Actor Causes Outrage With Video Of Mohbad’s Death

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has claimed he has a video showing how late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was killed.

Fabiyi made the claim in a video posted on social media, where he again appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the case.

The actor alleged that the video was sent to him during an attempt to extort him. He also revealed that he wrote to President Tinubu in May 2025, insisting that Mohbad was “murdered.”

According to him, the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, in Abuja reviewed Mohbad’s case file and identified key suspects.

“But now they want to cover it up,” Fabiyi said. “They are even asking the same suspects to write a petition against me over illegal arrests. This suspect wants to silence me because they want to use the video against you.”

Fabiyi maintained that he would not stop speaking out until justice is served.
